The food here is amazing.. I recommend the Shrimp Fried Rice.. also, reasonable prices..

Had the cashew chicken. It was prepared the way I like. Stepson had the chicken fried rice. He loved it.

This restaurant took me a bit by surprise. Although it says on the sign it is a buffet one of the first things you learn as you get to the door is they are not serving a buffet. Or at least they were not serving a buffet the day we were there. They also mentioned on their signage that they were not a fast food restaurant and it would take some time for a meal to be prepared. In our case that was not a bad thing as we were not in a particular hurry. The menu is fairly simple that offers a fair selection. I had the general chicken which was completely unlike any other general Chicken I've had any other place. It was delicious! There was a bit of a fruit taste to the sauce which was fantastic. Can't say enough good things about the crab rangoon for the spring rolls either. Serving sizes were quite generous and we did not miss having a buffet. The service and staff were excellent. Unlike a lot of Chinese restaurants this one was not overly decorated. It was fairly plain and very clean.

Visited for the first time. Unfortunately the buffet was closed but dine in was open. I got the cashew chicken and some hot and sour soup which were both excellent.

New management, a hell of a good surprise from food. Sweet/sour chicken was real whole white chicken breast, some of the best I've had. Prices very low for how high quality and quantity you pay for, recommended! DRIVE THRU ALSO

Best springfield style cashew chicken buffet! we got there at a weird time of day. the staff made sure the buffet had fresh food for all our party! The bamboo chicken is the best honey glazed chicken!!! Hands down! will be stopping again when we head to the southwest missouri area!

Update: Delicious Sweet & Sour Chicken, Sesame Chicken, & General Chicken with Crab Rangoons. Great Service this time! Clean Restaurant Inside and Outside. Great Lunch Specials! Very Much Improved! *Nothing bad, but nothing great. Service was lacking and waitress was absent for any refills, napkins, etc. Only came out from the back to seat you & take your payment at the end. It was impossible to get her attention. Now, they've SHUT DOWN the BUFFET, so Absolutely No Reason To Go & Eat there! Need to reopen the buffet or take down the sign. Appreciate the owner's comments & maybe it was an off day! Will try again sometime. At least, the inside is still open. Update: Went there, again, and the drive thru was Closed 15 minutes before 9 PM. IF you stay Open until 9 PM, then you should be OPEN or change the hours! Chen's is OPEN until 9 PM & they have a BUFFET that's Falsely advertised at Bamboo Garden!

Stopped in for lunch while traveling. The food was delicious (tried the recommended cashew chicken!) & portions were generous. The staff was friendly & attentive. Our whole family left full & happy. We’ll definitely stop again whenever we’re in the area!
